As part of a Resources Recovery Program, The Metal Recycling Division was set up in the year 1991 and the division installed the first auto shredding plant in the whole of Middle East, with an annual production capacity of 40,000 MT. The Plant shreds automobile bodies and the end product is sold to the Steel Mills. Since its inception in the year 1991, Mushad Holdings has been the single source of Shredded Steel Scrap to the local steel company, Kuwait Steel Company Limited.
